The Clay Pipe Development Association provides a service for member companies, specifiers and users of vitrified clay pipes and flue linings. It represents the industry on technical matters, particularly on both British and European standards committees, and monitors relevant research.

The teaching of drainage and sewerage design and construction at colleges and universities is supported at Further Education, Higher Education and Degree levels. This is done by the provision of assignment questions and answers, booklets and videos for tutors, together with packs of relevant booklets for students.

Technical booklets are produced on the design and construction of clay pipelines and flues. A composite video set of four films is available, covering all aspects of manufacture, properties and use of clay pipes.

Technical lectures can be provided to professional groups, local authorities, companies, etc. An engineering advice service is available to answer enquiries on the use of clay pipes and flue linings.
